A charming little farmhouse stands in the Landes region of France. At first glance, with its white rendered walls, wooden shutters and surrounding fields and greenhouses, there’s nothing exceptional about it. However, the Baudonne farm is a first in France and Europe.
Here, women prisoners live and work. Female prisoners. After a life full of pitfalls, several years lost in French prison hell, these women spend their days in the open air, in the fields, hands in the soil, or at the market selling their produce. A new world is opening up to them.
What if it were possible to make a fresh start here?

This documentary tells the story of women of all ages who are starting a new life and reinventing themselves.
