Collection of three films on borders

Located in the northern part of Kenya, the Dadaab refugee camp has been home to more than 250,000 people, mainly Somalis, for three decades. An entire generation has grown up there, with no hope of a better future.
The perimeter of the Dadaab camp has become a border within the country, preventing men and women from leaving and finding work, or settling elsewhere in Kenya.

This documentary will tell the story of this ‘border’, which is real but has no legal existence. The story of this camp, as densely populated as Bordeaux, with its makeshift schools and dispensaries run by NGOs, which was never designed to last this long, or to expand on this scale.
The film portrays this “camp generation” and their interaction with the surrounding local community.
